“My husband and I purchased the stay in Tuscany at last year's St. Francis Episcopal School auction and have just returned from our stay at Borgo Solamore.

We truly had the most fabulous week.? The accommodations at Borgo Solamore are ideal for a group (we were 9 in total, 4 couples + our 11 year old daughter).? Each couple had their own house to stay in giving us lovely privacy and when gathering for meals, we did so seamlessly at the bistro steps from our respective houses.??

Alessandra Soldi, the owner of Borgo Solamore, is a true hostess and a pleasure to know.? Alessandra arranged our entire itinerary for the week; we had first class drivers to whisk us around seamlessly in two Mercedes vans, private tour guides to explore all of the fabulous Tuscan towns and reservations at the most lovely restaurants and wineries.? Alessandra is so incredibly plugged in and knowledgeable about the area and what a group like ours would enjoy.? All we had to do was show up and all was arranged and completely fabulous, beyond all expectations!

We also dined several times in the evening at Borgo Solamore on the beautiful patio of the Bistrot with an incredible view of Tuscany, and every meal was delicious and a welcome retreat for our group after a day of exploring.? Additionally, we were served a full and delicious breakfast each morning before venturing out for the day, a wonderful way to start each day.

I truly hope that Borgo Solamore will become a permanent option for future auctions as it is a first-class experience far beyond just an accommodation, which I think would yield a premium from bidders who would like to simply arrive with everything planned and available to them!? A real vacation!
