A prestigious customer from the Mumbai region urgently required an implementation as per their finance team, slated for the same day.

Despite the heavy downpour, we pledged to meet the client's needs promptly. The journey commenced the next morning amidst torrential rains, a common scenario in Mumbai during the monsoon. Navigating waterlogged roads and facing heavy traffic on JNPT road, our team encountered a significant challenge on the Karol Bridge – a hidden pothole filled with rainwater. Unaware of its depth, our rear wheel succumbed, resulting in a dent and a puncture.
With no tire repair person in sight, our team faced adversity. Wet and running late, we contacted the customer, requesting an additional 30 minutes. Despite the challenging circumstances, we replaced our wheels and reached the client site. Our dedication didn't go unnoticed. The customer appreciated our commitment, and amidst discussions, our team swiftly initiated the development process. The solution was delivered on-site, meeting their expectations. After thorough testing, we deployed the patch in production, concluding the entire activity in approximately eight hours.
The customer's appreciation resonated not just for the successful implementation but for the dedication demonstrated despite adverse conditions, underscoring the value of our efforts.

Second Experience: Overcoming a Ransomware Crisis
In another challenging scenario, one of our esteemed customers with multiple locations encountered a severe virus attack. As all locations were under the same domain, the servers across all seven locations were compromised, leading to a complete system shutdown. The urgency unfolded when a user from one of the locations reported our application not working at 4 AM.
Upon investigation, we discovered that the database was inaccessible, and application files were corrupted. A ransomware message displayed on the screen, demanding a significant sum for the release of the servers. Understanding the severity, we immediately contacted their IT manager and subsequently started receiving calls from all locations about the ransom attack.
The gravity of the situation became evident when operations came to a halt, forcing the customer to resort to manual delivery processes on handwritten paper. Adding to the challenge was the fact that it was a Friday night, with substantial weekend traffic expected at every port, CFS, and ICD, exacerbating potential revenue loss.

In a swift and decisive response, we made the immediate decision to bring all applications back online. This involved the meticulous process of formatting each server, installing the operating system, and database, and configuring the entire system. Working tirelessly day and night, our team ensured that all seven locations were operational within eight hours.
This decisive action not only mitigated the potential revenue loss but also reassured the customer of our reliability and capability to handle crises effectively. The dedication exhibited during this crisis further solidified our commitment to providing unwavering support in the face of adversities, reinforcing the bond of trust with our valued customers.
