The new battleground for customers will be the customer experience. How good is your customers experience and if it was improved how much more would it be worth to your business? How much is poor customer service costing?
Companies can no longer afford poor customer service and the Return on Investment is increasing all the time for those who have a clear customer service programme in place and one which increasingly satisfies the customer.
Know what you want your customers to experience, align all parts of the key touchpoints to that vision, measure performance, recruit well, train, trust and recognise staff, celebrate success and make sure everybody in the organisation is on board and rowing in the one direction.
Watch the difference and smile.........Keep it simple but do it.
