Once again I'm glad to share my experience about my Digital Marketing Internship Program. Before this, will tell you the outcome of my first assignment. The first assignment/target got completed and I felt very good. The assignment was approved and YES I got my first PAY!!! This week I learned a lot of things and a new concepts. Let me share short notes on what I have learnt.
THE RULE OF GOLDEN TRIANGLE(LEARN.DO.TEACH):
First Learn something. Then, do it and then go Ahead and teach it. This is called as golden triangle. When you teach you understand things in a better way. Deepak Sir made me clear why he is asking us to write an assignment of what we learned on classes with this golden rule. It makes our concept clear.
WHO IS BETTER MARKETER?
A Better marketer is one who has the ability to deliver the information in a more personalized manner to its audience in such a way that it should feel like having a one on one conversations and not one is too many.
I Selected my niche based on algorithm taught by deepak sir. Niche must be based on Passion, Market demand, Talent. Going forward I've come up with a niche and made my customer avatar with more general information of my customers with my little business idea. For that let's first deeper understand what is customer avatar.
IF YOU TRY TO HELP EVERYONE, YOU'LL NEVER HELP ANYONE :
Let me express my gratitude to Mr. Deepak Kanakaraju for giving an opportunity for learning this new concept of Customer Avatar which was certainly unheard of me. To be honest it is a uncommon topic for me which led me to explore to uncover the subject deeper, how this Customer Avatar will help to reach my final consumer. Customer Avatars or client avatar are predefined set of your target audience. Marketers use avatar to create not only contents but also products and services that fit the audience. This is very common technique used in big companies. Creating a Customer Avatar helps us to define our customer - both demographically and psychologically. The insights we get from creating a strong customer profile can be used to have 1:1 conversation with them. It will benefit you with their trust and you will be addressing topics that your customers thinking about. For example: My customers might be talking about the charges of developing an app. It's better for me to help them with pricing structure of developing an app by standard companies rather than tell them how to develop an app by themselves.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Target audience must be based on demographics and psychographics. Once we will be able to define who is our target customer we will be able to communicate better to them.
Demographics - This helps us understanding the characteristics of target consumers. It includes name,age,gender,annual income,profession,locality,marital status etc.
Psychographics - This is more related to mental and emotional based of the buyers. It includes goals, interest, likes and dislikes, etc.
THE RESULT OF MY CUSTOMER AVATAR:
I used Google forms to create survey. I framed suitable questions for my audience. My customer survey is about "catering services".

6) Annual income - 54.54 % nil, 9.1% more than 8 lakhs, 9.1% between 7-8 lakhs, 18.2% are inbetween 5-6 lakhs, 9.1% nil.

TAKEAWAY:
If you are starting any business, creating customer avatar helps you in defining your customers. It will help you make informed decisions and strategies for your marketing. The stronger customer profile you create, the better will be the way of communication.
