Hazmatpac has the unique capability to help our customers with problematic and complex hazardous material packaging needs. One of my coworkers & senior account manager Juan Moran has provided multiple solutions for many customers, but I wanted to highlight one as an example below.

An account that Juan manages ships an industrial coating for aircrafts & needed to not only customize the outward appearance of their packaging, but also have a combination packaging system that would accommodate shipment of Toxic by Inhalation material.

He came up with a solution that included the double-walled corrugate box, two inner tinplate cans with Hazloc rings, and vermiculite to provide a nonflammable absorbent in all void spaces around the cans. The customer could then fill the cans onsite with their coating solution & catalyst in separate cans, allowing them to ship safely & confidently within the UN Regulations for those specific materials.

Coming up with a custom solution allowed Juan to demonstrate an added value beyond simply providing a stocked item & leaving the rest of the work up to the customer. By going above & beyond he won the customer’s faith in his ability, knowledge & follow through. By consistently fulfilling his commitment to ship this kit in a timely manner for a price they found desirable, he won the customer’s faith in Hazmatpac & our product.

All three of these are crucial, as a customer can like you personally, but if they have no faith in your product or your company they will go elsewhere. If they believe in your company & your products but think you are unreliable, they will ask for another account manager within your company. The customer must believe in you, your product & your company to fully win their loyalty. I believe that we at Hazmatpac have accomplished this with a multitude of customers in many industries across the world.
