Custom-made on a catalogue?

I apologize in advance. I know that my heart is very close to my mouth and that I am sometimes too sincere and frontal, but there is something I have to express. This is not a criticism, its an explanation.

Oftentimes we are asked to forward custom-tailored programs with resale prices. 

With all due respect. We do support and enforce that everyone is entitled to do what they do best and love, but it seems a bit peculiar that we keep being asked to share custom-tailored programs with resale prices!

It's a bit like looking to hire someone with 25 years of experience in social media promoting ... it does not exist.

How come does a custom-made service become mass-marketed? will it then be sorted by price, amongst hundreds of thousands of others out there in the market? 

Dear colleagues, let us try to explain this in a simple manner:

- Imagine that you go to the shopping mall, looking for a custom-tailored suit for that cocktail party that you are attending, and then, you realize that the "custom-tailored" suit that you are wearing was actually being worn by 5 other participants... From our perspective, there's nothing wrong with wearing the same label or model as others do, but, wouldn't you feel cheated by having paid something made to measure exclusively for you, and later find out that what was exclusive to you, in fact, is available in a catalogue for anyone who wants it?

One other matter is the feedback that we sometimes receive: "It's too expensive and our clients are very much price sensitive"

- We completely understand and respect this! Nonetheless, Glamoux does not compete on sales, nor do we comply with price crushing just to have another client. 

The only competition that we have is with ourselves. We see all others as partners and friends, or, eventually as potential partners.

Pricing is calculated based on the services that are being provided. 

For instance, we cannot accept that (what some say: it's just a driver) a chauffeur, that is fluent in three or four languages, and that invested thousands of euros and endless hours in his own training, who paid for the dry cleaners to take care of his suit, who gets up at dawn and leaves the family at home, who, despite the circumstances of his life, will always have a smile on his face, and, most importantly, that will have a client's life in his hands ... literally, and... that drives a car that probably costs 200 thousand euros or more, should be paid the same as a regular taxi - with all due respect for all taxi drivers and entrepreneurs -!

People and businesses are paid not only for the services they provide. People and businesses are paid for the years of accumulated experience, the quality they provide, the experience they deliver, the significance that certain service have, for the passion they bring to work, for the endless hours.

We understand that a highly trained professional must be paid accordingly, that a sublime accommodation that to be paid for, not for only for the number of stars they uphold.

We completely understand and respect that the world is in an ever-evolving market, where many corporations compete for the lowest price regardless of the service standard they deliver, but these same corporations cannot demand to have a team of highly trained and experienced professionals to work.  

This may seem to be wrong to say, but, nobody from our team, nor from our partners will sacrifice their time with their family or loved ones behind just to hear: you have to make it cheaper.
