While real wage growth, combined with a shortage of available stock, is providing the foundation for nationwide rental growth, house price inflation across the country has slowed considerably.
In the capital, the current downturn in achieved prime prices is now comparable in percentage terms to that of the 2007/2008 global financial crisis, although it has taken over 4? years to get there.
