A panel will be formed from this competition to fill current and future vacancies that may arise for Architectural Assistant Grade I in OPW offices nationwide.

Engineer Grade II (Civil & Structural)

Engineers Grade II (Civil & Structural) in the Civil & Structural Engineering Services section operate in a variety of roles such as engineering designer and/or technical adviser. They will also be involved with project management and be a member of the design team on various projects. These projects can range in size from small advisory reports to new construction, refurbishment, conservation and major maintenance projects.

Vacancies currently exist in the Civil & Structural Engineering section which is based between the OPW Head Office in Trim, Co. Meath and its Dublin office at 1GQ, George’s Quay, Dublin 2.

Craft Electrician in Building Maintenance Services (Dublin area)

The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications for appointment to the position of Craft Electrician in Building Maintenance Services, based in the Dublin area. There are currently four permanent positions to be filled and while the successful candidates will be based at Collins Barracks in Dublin, they will be required to work at a number of locations throughout the Dublin area and the area covered by Building Maintenance Services, Dublin.

Craft Stonemason and Stonecutter in the Kilkenny National Monuments district

The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications for appointment to the position of Craft Stonemason and Stonecutter in the area covered by the Kilkenny National Monuments District.

There are currently two permanent positions to be filled, one post based at the National Monuments Depot, Hebron Road, Kilkenny and another post based at Tintern Abby sub depot, Co Wexford.

A third post which is for a Fixed Term contract period is also available to be filled at National Monuments Depot, Hebron Road, Kilkenny.
