Head of Internal Audit
The Office of Public Works is holding a competition for appointment to the position of Head of Internal Audit (Principal Officer).
The Head of Internal Audit oversees the Office of Public Work’s (OPW’s) Internal Audit function, and is responsible for the provision of evidence-based assurance and technical advice and assistance across a broad range of areas impacting the organisation in general. The Head of Internal Audit will report to the Chairman, who is the Accounting Officer for the OPW, and the Audit & Risk Committee and operates under the administrative remit of the Director with responsibility for Corporate Services.

Digitalisation Manager (Service Manager) in the Visitor Services Division
The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Digitalisation Manager in the Visitor Services Division of the OPW. This position will be based in 1GQ, Georges Quay, Dublin 2, however consideration will be given to the successful candidate if an office base in Claremorris, Co. Mayo or Trim, Co Meath is preferred. The appointee will be required to work on location and may be required to attend meetings and work in other OPW work, building and heritage site locations nationwide.

Part-Time Constable General Operative Band 3
The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications from those who wish to be considered for General Operative Band 3 at Dublin Castle, Farmleigh Estate & Gardens and Rathfarnham Castle.
The position of Part-Time Constable is required to provide relief work to fill in for permanent staff who are absent from duty. The required hours of employment will be on any day in a 7 day week and will involve daytime and night-time work.

Engineer Grade III (Civil) in the Office of Public Works
The Office of Public Works (OPW) is the lead agency in coordinating flood risk management policy, the flood relief capital programme and the technical assessment of coastal change risks in Ireland.
OPW now requires the assistance of Engineers Grade III (Civil) to support the flood risk management programme.
A number of vacancies currently exist for Engineers Grade III (Civil) across OPW’s Flood Risk Management Services. A panel will be formed from this competition to fill current and future vacancies which may arise in OPW’s offices nationwide.
