Household Assistant
The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications for the position of Household Assistant (Household staff) at State Venues in Dublin.
Full time position and establishment of a panel for certain future fillable full-time and part-time positions.
The duties of the Household Assistant (Household staff) are varied. The primary function of the jobholder will be, to carry out household tasks including cleaning all areas with the State Venue, housekeeping, room layouts, set up and food/drink service for residents, guests and participants at Events, all of which must be delivered to the highest standard.

Safety Officer
The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications for appointment to one position of Safety Officer in the OPW. The position will be assigned to the National Monuments Unit within Heritage Services of the OPW and will be responsible for the daily operations of National Monuments, focussed on adherence to the Health, Safety and Welfare at Work Act and visitor safety.
The post is currently based in the Office of Public Works, 1GQ Georges Quay, Dublin 2, however, consideration will be given to the successful candidate if an office base in either Trim HQ or Claremorris is preferred. The appointee will be required to work on location and may be required to attend meetings and work in other OPW work, building and heritage site locations nationwide.
