Current State of America: In Simple Terms

Imagine you have a team all wanting to work toward the same goal.

How could you stop that team from reaching their goal?

Split that team up into 2 groups and get them angry at each other. Spread false narratives, hate, and anything you have to do in order for them to not be on the same page. Take it to such extremes that each group will disagree on everything immediately just because they are not in the same group. They will turn against each other and focus on passing blame. They no longer have clear enough minds to focus on solutions. Their egos are developed to a point where they won't even listen to the other side, because they obviously are wrong.

Now, don't forget this is actually still ONE team.

What are the chances that one team, will still reach their original goals? Zero.

If you have one side of the boat rowing forwards, and the opposite side rowing backwards, you get a boat spinning in place and making no progress. It goes no where.

By this point you probably know where I am going with this.

The current state of America.

Too many of you are so damn focused on your political party being right and the other one being wrong. It's embarrassing. You can't even have a decent conversation without immediately attacking the other side and passing blame, without offering any solutions or remembering we are all on the same damn team.

Change starts by looking in the mirror and being brutally honest with yourself. Are you open to conversation and other viewpoints? Or do you immediately shut them down because that is what you have been conditioned to do as a member of the opposite party?
