The recent Oromo and Amhara region parliamentarian defiance of the current TPLF led brutal regime is a positive sign of the evolving political system which is long overdue. We have never experienced such a defiance of the people’s representative in Ethiopia’s political history. Finally, we are witnessing the emergence of a true and effective parliamentary democracy.

The parliament of a nation ought to be independent and autonomous in accordance the tenets of any genuine democratic political system. Unfortunately, the past political history of Ethiopia has been whether during the monarchy era or the Derg era and the current TPLF regime, the parliament has been and still a symbolic talking shop rather than deciding and determining how the country should be governed by passing the appropriate laws in the interest of the people of Ethiopia. However, we are witnessing right now, the symbolic talking shop is starting to refuse to obey the current incompetent and oppressive TPLF regime after twenty-six years of passivity and impotence.

The forces behind this evolution is at the center of it is the Oromos and the Amahras coming to gather forming an alliance which they should have been doing it long time ago. Now the sleeping giant the Oromos and the Amahras have awaken and the political game in the country once and for all it has to take a different course. The power is in the hands of the people. But, the political elites of the country has never willing or daring to defy the different types of oppressive regimes in the country.

Now, the mass has awaken across the whole country, we will soon see a completely different types of political rules of the game. Either, the political elites of the country follow the will of the people of Ethiopia or they will die the inevitable death of shame. The political elites of the country have no alternative but to listen to the interest and the voice of the people across the country and establish a genuine and functional democratic and just political system that suits the country based on the will of the people. From now on, no Ethiopians will accept a banditry, oppressive and killer political system in the country.

The era of cleaver manipulative, exploitative and divide and and rule era has expired. A new down for Ethiopians have arrived and they must continue to demand a just, free, equitable and genuine democratic political system that serves the nation’s interest rather than the organised few mafias that have been impoverishing and oppressing the country at large. There is no escape now the flood of the nation’s decision to change the entire political landscapes in Ethiopia.

It’s my ardent belief that the Ethiopians have decide once and for all exert their God given right to live in dignity and freedom in their own country. Everyone seems to be feed up the ruthless and fascist group causing everyone a night mare and the behavior of the current ruthless TPLF regime that has been looting the country’s resources and brutalizing and terrorizing the nation for the last twenty-six years.

I hope we will see a better and free Ethiopia in due course.

Power to the Ethiopian people, Ethiopia shall be free from fascist TPLF regime!
