The Curious Teepee 2020

It's our favourite time of year at The Oast House... Teepee time! As many of you know, our USP at Oast is our humoungous outdoor courtyard area that plays host to many refreshing beverages, tasty food, live musicians and of course, the good times in summer. You must be thinking that even though northerners aren't afriad of the cold (occasionally), what can we do as a venue to maintain footfall throughout the chilly winter months... our answer? BUILD A HUGE TENT AND LET THE GOOD TIMES CONTINUE.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

It's not to deny that 2020 has been a rough one for everyone living all over the world. It has taken a dramatic effect on the hospitality industry as a whole. We want to make you feel as safe as possible in our venue and have implimented many government guidline-based rules to do so. Every customer must scan the NHS QR code on arrival, sanitise their hands and be seated at their allocated table by a member of staff. Customers MUST wear a mask whilst walking through the venue but can take it off at their table. We ask that you order both food & drinks through our Order & Pay app that can be found on stickers on the tables. Stay safe!

Autumnal Wreath Making...

On Sunday 25th October at 10:30am, we are hosting our first ever Autumnal Wreath Making Class! As you may know, our Festive Wreath classes sell out every year without fail so we wanted to brighten up October with a morning of arts, crafts and gorgeous colours. Tickets are priced at ￡40 per person and includes: a drink on arrival, the Wreath Masterclass, your very own personalised wreath complete with fresh foliage embellishments to take home, a main meal after the class. Perfect timing for Halloween & Bonfire Night.

Barry's Bootcamp x MYP...

It's common knowledge that Barry's Bootcamp is one of the worlds most unique and famous gyms with their classes being taught all over the world! Manchester Young Professionals (MYP) are teaming up with Barry's to bring a killer workout in the Teepee for a Saturday morning of socially-distant sweat time! After the workout, their will be a chance to book a table for our new weekend Breakfast menu. Tickets will be available to book on the MYP website via Fatsoma.

'Camp it Up' : Drag Lunch

We are SO excited to annouce our first series of Drag Lunches in our Curious Teepee! They will run every Saturday from 12pm-2.30pm starting on the 31st October and ending on 19th December. Tickets are ￡40 per person and include: performances from Manchester's most famous and fabulous Queens, bottomless Prosecco (for 1.5 hours) & a main meal throughout. Each week will be themed also so expect to see Halloween, Royalty, Alien Invasion, Circus, ABBA & of course, Festive performances. Tickets will be released shortly, so stay tuned!

Quiz Night...

Another new event... On Thursday 26th November at 7pm, we are hosting our very first Quiz Night! There will be three prizes: 1st Prize is a bottle of Champagne with a ￡50 Bar Tab to use at Oast House. 2nd Prize is an afternoon tea at hotel football with Prosecco & Beers. 3rd Prize is a game of bowling at Ten Pin. Tickets cost ￡5 per person and includes a drink. Teams can be 2-6 people! Get creative with you quiz team names!

Festive Wreath Masterclass

Returning for a fifth year, we invite you to join us and the lovely ladies from FlowerStyle for a morning/evening of festive fun! Starting with a mulled wine or hot cider on arrival, followed by the masterclass that will teach you how to create your very own fresh foliage wreath complete with Christmas embellishments. Also included will be a sit-down main course meal and drinks voucher to relax with your family and friends. We are hosting 6 dates this year: 22nd November (sold out), 23rd November, 24th November, 29th November (sold out), 30th November and 1st December (sold out). Let the festivities begin!

Christmas Movies...

Due to the popularity of our annual screenings, we will be showing 3 weeks of Christmas films in the Teepee. Films are yet to be decided but suggestions are most definitely welcome! Dates are as follows: 7th/8th December, 14th/15th December, 21st 22nd. Tickets will include food, drinks & popcorn.
