Curing Comparisonitis

Curing Comparisonitis

Do you?suffer from Comparisonitis??

What is?Comparisonitis??

It’s clearly a?made-up?word but it’s definitely a thing!??

Comparisonitis is the stuckness resulting from spending too much time looking at other people rather than focusing on ourselves from the?inside: out.?

We see it?in both men and women, but the key difference is that, in men,?Comparisonitis?provides hope?i.e.,?a man might look at another man’s success in the gym and think “if he can do it, so can I”.

A woman, on the other hand is more inclined to use the comparison she makes between herself and another woman as another stick to beat herself with through the medium of critical self-talk.?

We’ve found that we can compare ourselves to other women in many, many ways and, in the masochistic way of womanhood, too often choose to do so.??

We compare our looks, our bodies, our health, our careers, our children, our houses, our spouses…and the list goes on, but what’s the point if we don’t change anything for ourselves???

What’s?the point when all that happens is that we feel crap???

We descend into?a spiral of negativity directed inwards?and?leading to decreased self-esteem, decreased?self-confidence,?and an inclination to play small in the game of life.?

What if we could change this???

What if we could start to channel a different energy?that boosts us rather than holds us back???

Does that sound good or what?!?

The road to ditching?Comparisonitis and?stepping into?complete confidence and self-belief is just a?Zoom call away! Get in touch?to find out more.?
