CURFEWS IN NEARLY 40 CITIES ACROSS UNITED STATES-

Fires burned outside the White House, the streets of New York City were gripped by mayhem and stores in Santa Monica, were looted after another day of peaceful protests descended into lawlessness in major cities across the United States. It was the sixth day of unrest since the death of George Floyd last week in Minneapolis. The National Guard was deployed to assist overwhelmed police departments, and dozens of mayors extended curfews. The police adjusted their tactics after widespread looting and rioting over the weekend. In Minneapolis, the epicenter of the demonstrations, about 200 protesters were arrested after trying to march along interstate after a curfew beginning at 8 p.m. The arrests capped a relatively quiet night compared with the chaos of the past several days. Flames nearly two stories high leaped from trash cans and piles of street debris, sending acrid smoke into the air around Union Square in New York City. Jobless is gasoline, and then abuse of ability is the match. The police fired tear gas and unleashed flash grenades near the White House on Sunday night to disperse protesters who had smashed the windows of prominent buildings, overturned cars and set fires, with smoke seen rising from close to the Washington Monument. The White House went dark, turning off almost all of its external lights, as protesters seethed outside. Dozens of Facebook employees, in rare public criticism on Monday of their own company, protested executives decided not to do anything about inflammatory posts that President Trump had placed on the giant social media platform. The workers, who took the day off by logging into Facebook's systems and requesting time off to support protesters across the nation, also added an automated message to their emails saying that they were out of the workplace in a show of protest. The movement a virtual walkout of sorts comes as staff members have circulated petitions and threatened to resign. More than a dozen current and former workers have described the disruption as the most important challenge to Zuckerberg's leadership since the company was founded.

UNITED STATES TO DESIGNATE ANTIFA A TERRORIST OUTFIT-

The president also said his administration would be designating ANTIFA as a terrorist organization employing a shorthand for anti-fascist. But Antifa is a movement of activists who dress in black and call themselves anarchists, not an organization with a clear structure that can be penalized under the law. Moreover, US law applies terrorist designations to foreign entities, not domestic groups.
