NOTHING EVER LASTS FOREVER!

If you are anything like me, the past 3 years have gone by in a blink. Got me thinking about what I've accomplished & who I've met that made the mostest impact on me. Who knew that I would get to spend a good chunk of 2023 in Utah?!? Whew... practicing my Super-Connector superpowers on the daily this year, spreading my wings & holding space for others to find their own Wings again.

I am so blessed to serve the community/tribes that we have built/facilitated/grown with both in Vegas and here on Linkedin - love you Fam! Thanks for sticking around through the Ups & Down. We've Got THIS! Candy ON!

5 things I've LEARNED as a Community Builder (post covid):

1. We ALL crave deeper connections. As a community builder, I've come to realize the importance of creating opportunities for both virtual and in-person gatherings. Our "Zoomies," those we've met virtually, are not just screen names; they're potential friends, collaborators, and sources of inspiration. Balancing digital and real-life connections can help us form lasting relationships that transcend the online space.
2. The importance of Mental Health Wellness! Both personally & professionally, I keep learning how crucial to it is advocate for work-life balance within our communities AND in my own life. More conversations are about #Meditation / #Mindfulness / #SelfCare / #GettingTherapy etc. at my Events and I LOVE IT! Here to continue Holding Space...
3. Onboarding is SO important! Have a CLEAR process for next steps when welcoming new members to the community/events. When welcoming new members, I aim to ensure they have access to clear information about what to expect, how to participate, and what other events/resources are available. I make a point to hold open communication for any questions or concerns/ideas.
4. Adaptability and Resilience are Key. The past 3 years taught us that life can throw unexpected challenges our way. Whether it's finding creative solutions to connect virtually or planning safe in-person events, flexibility is a key skill.
5. Community Support CAN Supercharge Your Career! I launched several groups & projects as well as took on new clients totally SIX FIGURES in revenue in the past 2 years THRU my network/events. I love seeing the Synergies that are happening all around me too! Vegas is Buzzing, so is Silicon Slopes & Santa Monica - Creators coming together again. :)

Summary -For me, #CommunityBuilding has taken on a new level of importance since 2020. We've learned that connection, work-life balance, clear onboarding, a sense of belonging, and adaptability are vital aspects of successful community building. By embracing these lessons, we can build stronger, more resilient communities that thrive in a rapidly changing world. As we continue to navigate the challenges of the post-COVID era, remember that the power of community lies in its ability to bring people together, support one another, and create positive change in the world.
