There has been no escape this week for TUI and all the stories of delays and cancelled flights; so many people have been left disappointed and distraught (including Emma's parents who were heading off from Birmingham recently). The media were reporting 'Half term holiday hell' and there were many scenes at airports of chaos and confusion.

As business owners we need to ensure we can properly resource all the work we undertake and make sure we have effective planning and project management in place, too.

However, if the worst happens and we know we won't be deliver a product or service we need to proactively communicate this with our customers/clients and keep them in the loop. Do you have a crisis management strategy in place if the worst should happen?

As always, our goal should be exceeding expectations and using customer feedback to continue to improve the service we offer.
