cupcakes and crossroads
[only 251 words about cupcakes and crossroads]
They say that moms' want the best for their kids.
Really?
Hannah is 30 and lost in life.
On crossroads.?
She does not know what she wants, where she goes, what to? do next.
Every now and then, usually on Saturdays, her mom comes for a tea and they have cupcakes and chat. And every time she visits her mom tells Hannah how she should settle, find a partner, have kids, build a family, clock is ticking and all that.?
And every time her mom visits they both argue at the end and leave one another for days frustrated and upset.
The thing is - Hannah’s mom has been married three times, and yet she spent most of her adult life as a single mom raising three kids.??
Twice Hanna’s mom relationships were abusive.?
Hannah has half-siblings, step-dads, and zero contact with her biological father.
And despite her mom’s best intentions Hannah is still on crossroad.
What does that have to do with sales?
Perhaps nothing, perhaps everything.
Hannah will never buy from her mom. Would you? She’s tired of this BS and has seen in her own eyes the discrepancy between words and actions. She’d rather die on that junction she found herself than go where her mom tells her.
And no matter how good your pitch is - people make any decisions based on their own schedule, when they’re ready, when they find their truth.?
Not because you know.?
They decide when they know!
