Cup #6

Cup #6

A snowy and frigid Tuesday out for my Cup # 6 of my 2024 100-cup challenge! So, Gabriel McBride with 1075 Photography, LLC and I decided to warm up by the fire Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and enjoy a delicious breakfast too!

Gabe, I truly enjoyed meeting you and thank you for a wonderful conversation! I felt like I could relate to you in so many ways and I’m glad we could share our love for our careers in real estate, ideas and goals that we both have this year!

Not only is Gabe a fantastic real estate photographer, but he has been a Firefighter for 10 years now, currently serving 7 of those years with the City of Nicholasville. I left the meeting with Gabe reflecting on our conversation and the one word that came to mind to describe Gabe is “Bravery.” And what’s funny about that, is I’m not so sure Gabe is inherently brave though. LOL!

I say this because he shared with me that he does have some fears to include zip lining, however, in the same breath speaking about his experiences as a firefighter, he literally exudes bravery and he’s so humble about it. He also told me about a new arm to his photography business which is aviation photography and videography. With this, he goes up in helicopters to create marketing videos for Utility Operation Companies and the risks include being strapped into your seat next to an open-door helicopter taking wild turns and dips to get the perfect shot. So, Gabe may play it safe in life sometimes, but not when it comes to his passions like saving lives and getting the best video shots possible; the rewards outweigh the risks and to me it takes a very brave person to pursue these two careers.

Gabe grew up in Clearwater, FL in an urban area where he witnessed emergency crews assisting with many fires, vehicle accidents, etc.. and he knew at a younger age, he always had a desire to serve. The 911 tragedy was also an inspiration for him to become a firefighter to help others in need. As for his photography business…. well, he sort of stumbled into this one….

It started in 2019 when he bought a drone “just for fun.” Then he had heard about using them for real estate videography and photography and thought that would be cool to learn. As time went on, he learned interior real estate photography to include 3D tours. After years of learning and practicing the art, Gabe really buckled down in 2023 with a huge focus of growing this his career in real estate photography. He feels it’s a great niche to be in and has loved every bit of it! He enjoys the variety of homes and landscapes he gets to explore and learn about while on shoots. What makes him the proudest is just having the honor of a homeowner allowing him to capture their home in its best light to assist with making the sale as successful as possible for them.

Gabe’s number one goal is to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible for his clients and referring real estate agents. He is a strong advocate for organic, stable growth as he builds more relationships and expands his photography business, keeping his clients and real estate partners happy with his work.

Now, please take a moment to thank Gabe for his service to our Nicholasville, KY community as a Firefighter helping countless people every day. And please go check out his business page @1075 Photography to like and follow his amazing work! So talented!
