Dayton Children's Hospital
Relentless pursuit of optimal health for every child within our reach.
Dayton Children’s Hospital is proud to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration that empowers its physicians to develop programs and services to meet the unique health care needs of children in the Dayton region and beyond. Through this commitment, Dayton Children’s has become a leader in pediatric health care, providing cutting-edge treatments and services to its patients.?
One prime example of this commitment to innovation is Arturo Aranda, MD, FACS, CPE, division chief and endowed chair of general pediatric surgery at Dayton Children’s, who recognized an obvious need for advanced chest wall reconstruction for his patients. Taking it upon himself to meet this need, he built a center to serve his patients. Driven by a desire to provide the best possible care for his patients, Dr. Aranda knew he needed to get the most up-to-date and advanced equipment and techniques. As a result, he developed a multidisciplinary approach with cryoablation and minimally invasive surgical options.?
“Dayton Children’s empowers its physicians to be leaders in developing new programs and services that meet the unique health care needs of our community,” says Dr. Aranda. “This approach enables us to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and stay at the forefront of medical advancements.”?
