CULTURE - GOOD OR BAD?

In my experience good culture is the pivotal point of success in any buisness, sporting team or organisation. Culture will often change through time, how this deviates can often be determined by leadership, vision, performance and strategy.
Maintaining a postive culture requires hard work from everyone and a strong leadership direction on where the organisastion is heading.
There are a number of signs that reflect that a cultuire is dilluting.
- Lack of engagement
- Negative gossip
- Lack of team spirit
- Communication at all levels is not consistent
- Employees and leaders do not understand the company vision
- Empathy is lacking
- Not a balanced approach to team vs. profits
Everyone wants to be a part of a winning culture but everyone plays a part in this happening. When the whole entire team are fully aware of the direction and strategy great things happen.
Leaders must lead and coach with infectious energy, listen to their team and be approachable.
Good culture can make or break success.
