Culture & Careers: 7th Edition, Standing Together Amidst Challenges ???

As we continue our journey into 2025, I found myself reflecting on the strength and resilience of our community over the weekend. 13 days into the new year and the headlines couldn't feel more surreal. The obvious one is what's happening in our backyard right now. In light of the recent wildfires affecting the Los Angeles area. Feeling unity and support during these times is truly inspiring.

For this week, I want the newsletter to focus on ways you can get involved as though LA is a big city, the network itself can be small. If you haven't been directly impacted by the fires, you unfortunately know someone who has been & are offering anything / everything you can do to support them.

• The Fauna Foundation: Based in Malibu, this organization focuses on rescuing and rehoming animals in need.
• Boomer's Buddies Rescue: A Malibu-based non-profit rescue committed to taking on severe medical, trauma, and behavioral cases, as well as providing hospice care for animals.
