Culture: Alignment & Challenges in career a point of view
Pre-Job: A new born arrives in the world with some basic behaviors. Slowly the environment unfolds through activities performed around him/her.?Initial learning is always about satisfying needs of one self like hunger, thirst, pain, happiness etc. through supporting actions and expressions. Each and every human being goes through this process. After the initial phase child starts understanding emotions and begins responding the parents & environment.?It starts with crawling, speaking, walking, playing and many others which builds into a persona. ?What is being taught, what is being absorbed and what is put into actions on a high level forms the culture.?Eventually school, teachers, education, relatives, friends, hometown, society, religion has overall impact on one’s personality. All these are the inputs for an individual to perform the roles and responsibilities of a job .?
Post-Job: When someone enters the job the first time he/she goes through the same transformation one more time. The differences are the actors, process and outcome. Influence of the first company, first manager, first project and first team where you have spent significant time is unique and much deeper. It is automatically helping you to learn the basics ( ethics, values) of professional life. ?It is a very crucial stage to build your initial beliefs, point of view towards the job & industry. If the initial impressions are incorrect they can have adverse impact in long running career.

1)?????For organizations to make a new comer (fresh graduate, lateral higher, mid-management or executives) understand their unique culture has become tough. ?Even harder to align to the cultural goals and objectives when people come from such a diverse background in remote world. No one rule fits the criteria.
2)?????For employees growth is perceived in technology, role, compensation and skills. . One also needs to understand how to measure, align, adapt and predict future with respect to changing culture of the organization & industry as well. Very important parameter for achieving long term career objective.
Point to highlight, how do an individual know that he/she ready and prepared to understand if they are at the right place? The gap between education and job readiness is generally measured from the knowledge and technology fitment.?But how do we really classify individuals based on the cultural fitment?
With highest attrition rate and people transitions in recent times, it will be interesting to keep an eye to see how the overall industry responds to this problem in near future.

3 年I think there is no right or wrong choice/option, it depends on individual how he/she embrace the opportunity and make gold or dust out of it. If one doesn’t enjoy and crib about choice he/she has made then there is no harm in calling it off and starting new inning where his/her work is celebrated and most important to enjoy it.
