Shout out to my wife Laurie Hetherington who recently returned from a leadership retreat with the agency she’s been with for close to 6 years. As a local childcare consultant for an au pair agency, she help families in our area and around the US find childcare solutions that bring the world into your home and offer a cultural exchange that goes beyond routine childcare. I know the benefits first-hand as we had Cesar Bruno live with us for two years. He was a fantastic bro-pair/big brother/role model to our boys as he assisted our family with helping shuttle/chauffeur the boys to school & activities, teaching them a new language (well he tried!), being a buddy to our son who needed more assistance, and giving us date nights.? Not only did we have reliable, trustworthy care, we gained a relationship that continues on across the oceans today!
