As administrative professionals, we often work as part of a team. We learn to value the diversity, leadership, respect and recognize that everyone in the chain of command is an essential part of the entire organization. Nowadays, the administrative professional has broadened their knowledge, taking advantage of the development opportunities in the workplace. We have grown into other positions such as executive assistant or project manager, to mention a couple of examples. In my opinion, I would describe this career as one where the office professional: 1. Is a communications facilitator 2. Absorbs a lot of information 3. See things from different point of views These key strengths have definitely expanded our problem-solving skills, allowing us to be more proactive in todays′ work environment, which is very helpful.
