We've rebranded as PricklyPear! In early 2023, we began sharing weekly content (see below) with a focus on neurodivergent leaders and we truly hope it has made a difference for you. Recently, we introduced you to a new company that I (Ken) and Petra Russell, PCC, CPC, ELI-MP have launched to specifically serve neurodivergent leaders.
As Executive Coaches and Leadership Trainers we've had the opportunity to work with hundreds of neurodivergent leaders and coach them through many leadership and workplace challenges. Each week we will continue to share resources and insights for neurodivergent leaders and the rest of us.
In this week's newsletter we discuss a recent conversation we hosted on LinkedIn.

Cultivating Brilliance in Neurodivergent Leaders
About that conversation…
So yesterday was a big day in the PricklyPear journey. We hosted our first LinkedIn Live event and we learned some things and had a wonderful time!
It was so great to have panelists Meredith Canaan and Marilyn O'Hearne MA MCC CQ Potential Unlocker Coach, Mentor Coach, Author join Petra Russell, PCC, CPC, ELI-MP and I for a 30-minute conversation about Neurodivergent Leaders and the impact of coaching on their growth.
We shared stories of leaders we have worked with and boy were they fascinating. The common theme was that once leaders saw their own brilliance, they could step more fully into the best version of their leadership.
One viewer of the event, Karen Casanovas, P. left this comment:
"One of the most important takeaways from convo this morning is commonly used terms that include "neurodivergent" describing someone who isn't “neurotypical,” and "neurodiverse" which generally refers to differences in brain function among people diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) (i.e. neurodevelopmental conditions such as dyslexia or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)). While “neurotypical” is defined as brain functioning considered usual or expected by society, it is important to embrace and create a sense of belonging for everyone. Leaders who understand the benefits of coaching can shift their internal dialogue from neurodivergent categorized as a negative to creating their own ways of interacting socially, physically, or verbally that work uniquely for them."
The event is still viewable on LinkedIn here and I encourage you to take a look.
Please share any comments and reach out to any of the panelists if you want to talk more deeply about anything you hear.
Our desire is to serve you—make a difference in your life and in your leadership.
