?“YOU CAN BE FRIENDS WITH US (AMERICA) AS LONG AS YOU DON’T DISPUTE ANYTHING THAT WE DO AND WE DO PRETTY MUCH WHAT WE WANT. AND IF YOU DON’T DO AS WE WISH, YOU’RE IN TROUBLE.”
“This NATO plan has no long term future.”
"?Whatever leadership we used to get – I believe – ended with Harold McMillian - in Britain – he was the last one who made any sense and stood up and told the United States,? “have you lost your minds, why are you going to Vietnam. If you think we’re going to follow you, you’re wrong." “This NATO plan has no long term future.”
“If NATO still exists ten years after we found it, it’s a failure."
Why were we doing these things? When historians looked back on this American war in the future, would it not seem as mad in its motivation as the religious wars of the 17th century seem to us now?
"THE WHOLE GAMIT OF THE UNITED STATES IS TO DENY POLITICS;? JUST CALL THE OTHER SIDE EVIL WHETHER IT IS PUTIN OR HAMAS."
"Don’t discuss politics; don’t discuss the fact that there are legitimate interest on the other side; and then the war continues endlessly.. That’s the game this administration plays. It’s also the incredible cruelty of the American strategy and it’s also the failure of this administration."
The West never really genuinely regarded Russia as a dialogue partner. In an interview with the German newspaper Die Zeit last week, former German chancellor Angela Merkel revealed the West's real intention behind its negotiation with Russia and Ukraine to promote a ceasefire in 2014. She admitted the Minsk agreements were an "attempt to give Ukraine time" and that Kiev had used it "to become stronger."
“NOW, MERKEL CONFIRMS THAT NATO WANTED WAR FROM THE START BUT NEEDED TIME TO PREPARE MILITARILY—AN ASSESSMENT WSWS HAS LONG HELD.”
“Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the US has pursued the goal of remaining the “sole world power.” To this end, Washington has waged numerous criminal wars and expanded NATO into Eastern Europe. Now it also wants to integrate Ukraine, Georgia and other former Soviet republics into NATO and subjugate Russia in order to plunder its resources and isolate China.”
“The German government is using the Ukraine war to press its claim to become the leading European power and a major military power.”
?Excerpts from ‘IRONY’:
In his sometime perverse ambition to lead other men, mankind understands our captive preoccupation with God and will often inject a spirit of divine destiny in his ideological exhortations. We often find that men who aspire to be elevated as leaders, too often, evoke a certain cult around their persona which we may call “the cult of personality”. ?According to Wikipedia: A?cult of personality?arises when an individual uses?mass media,?propaganda, or other methods, to create an idealized, heroic, and at times, worshipful image, often through unquestioning?flattery?and?praise.
History provides us with many examples, such as Li Hongzhi, self- proclaimed “main Buddha of the Universe” (China); Augustus Caesar (most of Europe); Lenin and Stalin (USSR); Kim Jung Un (North Korea), to name a few.? If you want to stretch it a bit, Ronald Reagan for Republicans and John F. Kennedy for Democrats, and the Founding Fathers in general (USA).
Our news media, quite often, would not and will not acknowledge that this “cult of personality” is practiced in present day democracies. You, as the reader, must draw your own conclusions about this.
Learning about the personal details of leaders who exert power, or at least the illusions thereof, can tend to provide certain levels of fascination to the people who follow them. This may prove that the gap between reality and the unknown can oftentimes be vast.
Good laws – evenly applied - can be the equalizer, for each of us, in our relation with the people chosen to lead; these laws offer one and all, equal protections from unjust decisions. The law protects all members of our society and it makes for a fairer democracy. To this end, it is important to remain fixated upon these very important documents: The Magna Carta (Britain), The Rights of Man (France), and The Declaration of Independence and The Bill Of Rights (United States of America).
After 800 years, why- you may ask-does the granting of Magna Carta still remains a milestone of human history? Why does this feudal charter issued by this medieval king (John of England, 1215) still have such relevance to us today? ...

The West has never considered that the occupying power cannot claim self-defense. Right now, the USA is occupying Syrian's wheat and oil fields using force to maintain the illegal occupation. ?A message that Israel, whom they support, can do the same. ·???????The fault lies with the institution called the United Nations. The rules-based order and the USA's ?hypocrisy that has infected the United Nations. That nonsense should be abolished.
