CulinArt takes the spotlight at Compass Night of Stars

February 20, 2025 - CulinArt’s attendees at the recent Compass Night of Stars took their well-deserved time in the spotlight, reveling in the celebratory atmosphere while representing their sector among the full ranks of Compass Group.

Compass Night of Stars, an annual event recognizing the accomplishments of associates across all sectors, was held Jan. 14–16 in Orlando. CulinArt President Peter Witkowski took the podium during the Awards Gala on Wed., Jan. 15, to sing the praises of CulinArt’s two honorees.

Meghan Lambert-Jackson, director of dining services at?The Archer School for Girls, was Manager of the Year. “Tonight, we honor Meghan for her outstanding leadership and dedication to excellence in dining services,” Witkowski said. “She goes above and beyond to not only meet expectations but to set the standard for the West Coast division. She is known for delivering high-quality results while prioritizing the development and succession planning of her team members.”

Named Wellness Manager of the Year, Laura Martorano, MS, RD, CDN, campus registered dietitian at Stony Brook University, crossed the stage to receive her award next. “Laura has been a driving force behind innovative wellness and nutrition initiatives on [the Stony Brook] campus,” Witkowski stated, “and is making a significant impact on student health and wellbeing. Laura is truly a shining star in the field of nutrition education.”
