CUBA'S SCHOOL GAMES 2018
CUBAN YOUTH SPORT COMPETITION JULY 4-JULY 21, 2018
Cuba’s 54th Juegos Escolares Nacionales, National School Games, will be held between July 4 and July 21, 2018. The games include the participation of Cuban youths under the age of seventeen from around the island, and include volleyball, swimming, soccer, and baseball, the Cuban national sport. Over seven-thousand children from across the island are expected to participate this year, as well as several hundred children from a dozen countries.
The Cuban National School Games present a great opportunity for American kids who play organized baseball, whether on a little league, rec ball or travel team, to visit Cuba and participate in organized baseball game with their Cuban peers.
