CTRL+ALT+DEL

CTRL+ALT+DEL

Not sure but if anyone ever wondered why the combination CTRL+ALT+DEL exists in our systems that we use so often and a number of times in a day whenever they aren’t working

Am not a tech guy and can never decode the logic but there’s something that certainly caught my attention on what this combination does to the system i.e., – REBOOT.

In simple terms, whenever our machine isn’t working we apply this magical formula to get the system start afresh, clean and without any glitches.

And as am thinking more weirdly, how about if we try applying this simple logic in our daily lives towards creating a better and positive attitude towards external world by using the #3 keys:

1) CTRL – Controlling my reaction, my thought process to anything that doesn’t happen according to my definition of Right or Wrong, Good or Bad, Fair or Unfair moments that happen a zillion times in my personal and professional lives with my family, my friends, my peers, my bosses, my seniors, my juniors, number of strangers on the way.

I know this is easier said than done but one thing that I very strongly believe is that between whatever unpleasant happens to me and my reaction to it, there’s always a space, a time, even a nano-second wherein I can chose & CTRL my reaction and that gives me the power to manage my conduct in the situation.

2) ALT – In the heat of the moment, how often do we try to find an alternate perspective to look at the situation, the problem, the conflict from the angle of the person on the opposite side or at least from a 3rd party standpoint who’s not a part of the disagreement.

We aren’t at fault in always categorizing things into Right and Wrongs in a situation of difference of opinion because that’s how our software are developed from childhood and no one taught us that two perspectives can also be different yet Right. What’s in my hand is my ALT key to handle my responses to them in a more matured manner and still respect the opposite perspective

3) DEL – This is the final key to the magical combination that tells me to switch on and switch off wherein I try to meet the same person with a positivity, no matter even if I may had a very bad experience, a major disagreement or even a fight because I chose to reconcile with him in the very next moment. It’s simply my funda that the incident has happened in past and its up to me to carry the pain of that in my head n heart. No emotions here but it’s because I realize that it takes tons of energy to carry a negativity and at the end of day, it’s me who’s at loss if I don’t deploy that energy to a better means.

Am not trying to be a Gyaani here who has mastered above but certainly on the track to be constantly trying to decipher the rules of the game called Relationships and always trying to perform better in the next tricky situation whether at home, at office, with friends, or even strangers.

Not sure if the above connected with a few hearts, but even if it didn’t, try experimenting and locate your CTRL+ATL+DEL keys and REBOOT your systems in the next unpleasant situation to come across with a better feeling inside and positivity for self and other people around :)
