CSS3 Animations

This is an example page that uses CSS3 to animate the opacity and position of the elements onto the screen on page load or page refresh.
CSS animations do not effect the DOM structure and thus the elements remain in the same position in DOM regardless of the CSS animations applied doesn't effect access by screen readers; maintaining accessibility.
Mobile browsers already support CSS animations and most desktop browsers now support them as well.
There are now multiple ways to achieve animation. Animations can add a visual richness to an otherwise mundane e-learning product.
Animations can increase engagement and can also add intellectual or emotional impact to the material.
Animations can be programmed to create or increase learner interaction with the product.

8 年Proud to say that this application successfully passed our 508 Office's accessibility testing :D Since CSS affects the presentation of elements already visible in the DOM; screen readers see them immediately. The ability to execute these types of web animations without Flash is huge.
