Are CSPs Doing Enough to Protect Their SMBs from Cyber Attacks?
For this year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we’re shining a spotlight on SMBs, and the critical role CSPs can play in securing their future. Why SMBs? Simple: they’ve borne the brunt of the surge in cyberattacks we’ve seen this year. Limited security infrastructure and a growing remote workforce are two of the main factors that make SMBs easy prey for cyber criminals.
?Did you know that 22% of SMBs have suffered a data breach due to work-from-home policies? In addition, phishing attacks jumped by 27% in Q1, with SMBs as the primary target. The threat to consumers increased, too. But for SMBs it effectively doubled .
Put simply, more needs to be done to help small businesses, and it starts with the CSPs they rely on for connectivity.
Forward-thinking CSPs are finding new and innovative ways to keep that connectivity firmly under their control, and away from malicious actors.
Their unique network position gives CSPs the advantage when it comes to detecting and mitigating threats. It also puts a responsibility on their shoulders. And SMBs are increasingly taking notice of those who address their needs: 82% of them say they’re prioritizing security in their purchasing decisions.
Throughout Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we’ll be providing helpful resources and initiatives to empower CSPs to do even more for their SMB clients.
Here’s a quick read to get up to speed on the state of small business security, and Allot’s industry-leading solutions.
