CSCMP Awards: supply chain leaders recognized for outstanding achievements at the CSCMP Edge Conference
The CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals annual EDGE conference is always an excellent event for supply chain professionals. This year, the council recognized two long-time leaders in supply chain management, Masao Nishi and Beth Ford , and honored a rising star and an innovative transportation company.
CSCMP also awarded Andrii Aleksyev, the Milkalliance supply chain director, the company's Emerging Leader Award, which is given to a young supply chain professional who has already made significant contributions to supply chain and logistics management. Although unable to attend the conference, Aleksyev expressed gratitude to participants in a video message for their donations to Ukraine's Logistics Operations Relief Fund.
Nishi has had a long and impressive career in supply chain management, and his induction into the Supply Chain Hall of Fame is well deserved. Ford is also deserving of her recognition, as she is one of the few CEOs of a Fortune 500 company to come out of supply chain management. It is clear that both of these individuals have had a profound impact on the field, and their contributions are to be commended.
The Gail Rutkowski Transportation Excellence Award was presented to Mexpress, a trucking company that provides unique and vital transportation services between the United States and Mexico. This award is a well-deserved recognition of the company's innovation and commitment to excellence in supply chain management.
Overall, it was another excellent year for the CSCMP and supply chain professionals worldwide. It continues to set the standard for excellence in the supply chain, and we can all look forward to another great conference, awards, and recognition next year in Orlando.
