Labradorite also known as the crystal of new beginnings, this beautiful iridescent crystal is a form of feldspar. Labradorite got its name from where it was first discovered, Labrador, Canada, where it is still found today. It can also be found in the United States, Mexico, Russia and Madagascar. Labradorite has been used in First Nations communities since it was first discovered, in the 1770's. It is believed by First Nations communities that this majestic crystal contains the Aurora Borealis (also known as the northern lights) or Aurora Australis (also known as the southern lights).
