Confronted by critics, especially angry parents, bureaucrats argue it’s not their fault. They protest that they had no way of knowing what they did would cause the destructive consequences that happened during the pandemic. They claim that no one can see the future.?

Can we see into the future? If your answer is “No” then why do we tell people a week in advance, sometimes two weeks that they need to leave the comfort of their homes because a hurricane with force winds of 140 miles per hour is heading directly at them? Looking up at the clear skies and beautiful sunshine, most people heed the weatherman’s warning because they understand the prediction may not be 100% accurate in timing or path, but the risk is too great to ignore.?
Could we not then predict the disastrous consequences of the mandates in place in many of our cities and towns??
??? Confine senior citizens to stay indoors?
??? Lockdown schools and churches?
??? Close neighborhood parks and community centers?
??? Restrict access to public beaches?
??? Shut down mom & pops but keep the megastores open?
Could we not foresee the increase in drug overdoses, mental illness, broken relationships, broken dreams and our children‘s loss of learning??
