Cryptocurrency is at its low, and it has been months now. Will this be the end of cryptocurrency? Will the cryptocurrency market be able to recover from here? Will cryptocurrency be a transaction medium for us to buy bread and butter stuff in our daily life? Or is this just hype?
If you asked those who are in the market, they would say that crypto is decentralised, fiat currency is flawed, and crypto is security.
I understand all these, but there is just one major flaw in the crypto market. All major cryptocurrency value is compared to the US Dollar, so if that's the case, how could cryptocurrency be an independent digital currency. Pause and think about this.
If we replaced US Dollar with our daily products that we are familiar with, gold, oil or even coffee bean. The value of cryptocurrency is "judged" or "measured" by them; it could be manipulated.
Could it then be, for cryptocurrency for our day-to-day use, the crypto community has to start accepting the cryptocurrency as it is?
