Crypto Pioneers & The Unsung Heroes of DEFI

I started creating articles on Crypto Pioneers because of a Forbes crypto zoom meeting. In the meeting, there was a survey about the most influential leaders in crypto. Five names were put forth. These people are on almost every list there is of influential people or people to watch lists that I have heard. This list and most other lists usually have one of the founding members of Ethereum, Brian Armstrong, Tim Draper, Michael Saylor, plus or minus either Elon Musk or Jack Dorsey. I thought to myself, "Why does everyone seem to focus on the same handful of people when there are people in crypto behind the scenes that are doing the heavy lifting of bringing cryptocurrency and blockchain technology solutions to the masses?" So, in honor of black history month, I decided to shed a light on some of the diverse creators & leaders and the remarkable work they are doing to build out the cryptoverse.

Crypto Unsung Heroes

There are many people who have helped in creating the crypto community and aid in the adoption of cryptocurrencies that are not written about in mainstream media. Many of these people are women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ community that have helped to build the blockchain, block by block. For those who are looking to get into crypto, NFTs, The Metaverse and beyond, these diverse crypto folks are the gatekeepers to the knowledge that you seek and are the key to understanding the crypto community spaces. I found this out first-hand. The true unsung heroes of crypto are the community people who are sharing the knowledge of how crypto works, getting hands-on and helping people set up their wallets, explaining the importance of private keys, and sharing their own personal failures. They care about the community and are doing the work to actualize the vision that Satoshi Nakomato started when bitcoin was first introduced to the world.
