January 22, 2024 - our CEO, Tom Congdon, was at BioSeed to launch our latest round of fundraising. The OBN BioSeed event, known for its pivotal role in bringing together investors and biotech enterprises, provided an ideal platform for our CEO to engage with potential investors, share our company's vision, progress, and future, and explore new opportunities for financial backing.

January 23, 2024 - CryoLogyx was awarded The Innovation in Formulation and Formulation Science Award from SCI for the development of CryoShield?, an innovative cryopreservation formulation that enables cells to be frozen in pre-plated, assay-ready formats. This work was led by our CTO Professor?Matthew Gibson?and Dr Tom Whale and was carried out in collaboration with the?University of Warwick?by our Lead Development Scientist Dr?Ruben Tomas,?along with Dr. Kathryn Murray?and?Nina Kinney. Thank you to all those who have contributed to the formulation used to produce our Cryopreserved Assay Ready Plated Cells!

Innovation Hub

This month, our scientists expanded our weekly production to meet the growing demands. They've updated and finalised Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Laboratory Information Management (LIM) systems, and Quality Control (QC) protocols. These efforts ensure timely production of high-quality plates, thereby reinforcing our commitment to delivering superior products to our customers.

Event Highlights

We attended the Pharmacology Research Symposium at Oxford University and the BioCity Nottingham Supplier’s Fair 2024, which enabled us to exhibit our newest products and interact with prospective clients and collaborators. These events offered invaluable networking opportunities and provided us with a deeper understanding of the biotech market's changing demands.

Upcoming Events

We will be participating in the ELRIG Research & Innovation 2024 event, which will be held at the University of Manchester on the 20th and 21st of March. We look forward to demonstrating the impact and potential of our products to an audience of experts and enthusiasts who are equally passionate about advancing research and innovation.
