The Crying CEO Kept Us Engaged
This viral crying CEO post is the way we are nowadays - someone writes an unusual post that goes viral, then it keeps our conversation going for a few more hours or days, and that's how we spend our lives. Let's face it, it feels a bit like kindergarten.
Keeps Us Entertained But ....
At times like this we need to ask ourselves - where is the smart person, where is the sensitive person, where is the talented person, where is the super-human person? Is this what our lives are all about? Being in an social media conversation on a daily basis? Or is there more to life?

Anyone who thinks there's more to life, is right. The human machine is currently creaking along and not moving correctly. We're finding difficulties in all areas of our lives, and also in the area that interests us here on LinkedIn, business and the economy. Everything we are used to no longer works as it should, and everything is getting harder.

This is the time in our personal and general development where we need to stop and think, why are things that worked perfectly until today no longer suitable? Maybe we're doing something wrong. Or maybe it's not related to something we're doing right or wrong, but rather the law of development. Many questions and very few answers. But until we start asking the right questions we will continue to focus on random social media posts instead of life itself.

Crying, like this whole situation, is just another opportunity we get to stop and think: what's wrong and how can we rise above it? That's how it is every single day. We're provided with many opportunities that draw our attention to moving forward and not staying stuck where we are now. Do we take advantage of these opportunities or would we rather stay where we are?
That's the whole story for now. But next time something significant happens in your life, hopefully you'll stop and think about things you never thought about before. I can tell you right now that's it's usually only when bad things happen to us. When everything is great we don't stop to think and ask questions about life.

2 年Change and failure are part of life. Especially for a business person/ #entrepreneur. I have been in your shoes many times. 2000 dot com crash. 2008 financial crisis, etc. #shithappens. Whilst I had the same reactions & even worse, as I bled thinking of the implications of letting employees go from their #mortgages to car payments medical care to kids #tuition & more. But.. there isn’t time for this That may sound callous. But this is a #emotionalresponse. Whilst a good trait to have in life. If you let the quilt linger - It will DESTROY you and your business. Which will reak your personal life too. You need to move forward and fast. As #tedlasso said. “You need to be like one of those fancy tape measures that snap right back and snap back! Said another way, you need to act like a #marine, “adapt, improvise and overcome.” Pick yourself up asap. Read the amazing book #unfuckyouself. Look forward, let go of the past & #guilt. Put all your energy into the future. That will assure success & better yet, reposition & empower you. Your negativity will be left behind & your positive energy will yield success. You will then be able to rehire some of those people. I share your wonderful soul & self awareness. Good luck - move on soon

2 年Josia Nakash love this post. I've paused my life the last month taking time to reflect on life - my own life and all i have learned. I realize how much there is to be grateful for in the craziness we find when we don't take personal responsibility. We cannot blame everyone else. I am no one else's story. In order to fix the world around us - we need to fix our thinking and being in the moment. My focus is #AuthenticHarmony between women and men yet that is not easy when violence between two or more humans remains our greatest threat. Is the way we live our lives the most loving it can be? Don't use toxic words. Crying is a good start to forgiveness #crying #socialmedia #linkedin
