A Cry from the Heart: A South African's Lament

As I sit in my remote Orange Farm home, far from the bustling cities of Johannesburg and Vereeniging, I'm reminded of the iconic song "Everybody Has a Dream." But in a country where politics pervades every sector of the economy, my dreams seem destined to remain just that – dreams.

I feel like an outcast, a stranger in my own land. South Africa, a country that claims to be a rainbow nation, has become a place where only a select few thrive. The rest of us are left to fight for scraps, like dogs over a bone.

No one cares about the struggles of the common man. We're all just pawns in a game of chess, moved around by the elites to suit their purposes. The churches, supposed beacons of hope, have become profit-driven businesses. The police force, meant to protect and serve, has devolved into a gang of corrupt officials.

In this rotten system, I've come to realize that I'll never benefit. We're all just trying to survive in a world that seems designed to keep us down. As someone once said, we live in a banana country – a place where the rules are bent and twisted to suit those in power.

I've lost hope. I'll no longer try to break into the inner circle, because the market is rotten to the core. South Africa, is there any hope for survival here? As long as third-world countries exist, I see no solution but destruction.

Perhaps it's time to rethink our borders and become one big, unified African country. Let us suffer and triumph together, regardless of education level or skin color. We're all human beings, deserving of dignity and respect.

This is food for thought... You do the dishes!!!!
