Crushing & Screening Tip #1 - Feeding the Crusher
Jason MacDonald (FIQ)
National Crushing and Screening Manager - Porter Equipment Pty Ltd
Always feed to the rear of the hopper whenever possible. Consistent feed and the ability of the feeder to remove the most amount of fines results in higher production and less wear. Wait for the previous bucket of material to be partially processed before putting the next bucket in. Give the grizzly bars or pre-screen a chance to remove a large portion of the fines. If feeding with a loader, hopper extension wings will allow you to rear feed and maximise production.

3 年Thank you very much Jason without details that are not taken into account when installing a crushing equipment and long wing make production more expensive and its final cost with premature wear and excessive stoped when they can be avoided from the beginning.
