Now coming back to welcome flows! Here are five tips you should keep in mind when creating your Welcome Flow:
?Keep your flow simple: At Budai Media, we send a standard set of 3 emails.?
?Incentivize your audience: Provide a gift voucher or discount code to push your new subscribers to shop from your store.
?Time your emails well: Send the first email immediately, followed by the second email the next day, and the final one 12 hours after that.
?Test your subject lines by running an A/B test: You can run tests to see what kind of subject lines perform best for your brand. For example, you can test for long vs. short copy, using an emoji in the subject line vs. not, or phrasing your subject line as a question vs. a statement.?
I always advise e-commerce entrepreneurs to run A/B tests on their flows and other emails that run all year round to find out what their audience likes. This data is instrumental when topical days like Black Friday roll around because you already know what’s best for your brand.?
? Include 2 CTA’s in your emails: We always include two CTA’s in our emails. One at the beginning of the email, followed by a second one a few lines before the email ends.?
