Crunching the numbers of 433 in 2016

2016 was all about breaking barriers with 433. We started the year with 8.8 million followers and today, the 433 community exists of more than 13 million football fans! Here are some other fascinating facts of the year:

• Cristiano Ronaldo is following 433. By doing so, he joined stars like Paul Pogba, Gerard Piqué, Luka Modric, David Luiz, Mesut ?zil and Xabi Alonso who have been following us for a while now. 
• One of the most shared hashtags was #ForcaChape. 433 proved to be a community of amazing people who all paid their respects to those who died in the plane crash in Colombia.
• We generated 200+ million impressions in a single week. That’s almost double the viewership of the Superbowl.
• Talking about impressions: our top posts get 4+ million impressions each. Slightly more than the number of people tuning in to see The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
• This means we reach 1 billion impressions and average 400 million views. Every month!
• Our most commented post received almost 147,663 comments and still counting.
• The 433-app for iOS and Android has generated over 2 million downloads in 2016.
• We ranked number 1 as Instagram’s most watched video creators, beating big names like SportsCenter, 9gag and Instagram itself for the top spot.

All this wouldn't be possible without a fantastic team that works day and night.
