Cruising the Chicago Loop
There’s nothing like summer in Chicago! With so much to do, it’s no wonder our city comes alive with locals and tourists taking in the magnificent landmarks, food, culture, history and architecture. When I have out-of-town guests visit, one of my favorite things to do is to take them on an Architecture Boat Tour on Chicago's First Lady. It’s an unforgettable experience for anyone looking to explore the city's iconic skyline.?
As you cruise along the beautiful Chicago River, you're treated to stunning views of over 50 famous buildings, each with its own unique story and architectural style. Knowledgeable docents from the Chicago Architecture Center guide the tour, sharing fascinating insights and fun facts about the city's rich architectural history. The tour lasts about 90 minutes and operates from April through November, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this tour provides a fresh perspective on Chicago's urban landscape, highlighting everything from historic landmarks to modern marvels.?
