Crowdfunding, Self-Publishing & The Salesman In Me Put to Good Use II.

A mammoth thank you to every one of our 106 amazing donors, it's thanks to your generosity, that not only did we exceed our crowdfunding target (raising over 110 copies for The Smith Family Toy & Book Christmas Appeal along the way) but incredibly Jacob's Toys: A Backyard Adventure has been picked up by Harbour Publishing House for Australasian Release in Q2. 2018.

Each of our wonderful donors that pledged prior to March 16th can look forward to receiving their very own author signed pre-release copy AND to seeing their name featured within the books artwork! As we head towards print, pledge options that include "your name in the book" have closed but our GoFundMe page remains open for those still wishing to secure your own author signed pre-release copy.

A huge thank you also to the incredible professionals who helped us achieve this milestone. The single greatest piece of advice I have been given over my career in sales and project management is: "If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room". There can be no greater example of the power of combined forces and alignment with strategic partners than the pooled efforts of the below masters of their field who helped Jacob's Toys: A Backyard Adventure become a reality:

Working with my incredibly talented sister to achieve her lifelong dream has been such a joyous experience, and the personal satisfaction borne from formulating a plan and achieving full results inside 6 months in an industry with a 5% success rate has been immense. Not to mention I've surely earned the right to bust out "Remember that time your little brother helped you become a published children's author" at every family gathering from here on in haha.... just kidding Claudia... well sort of...

And this is just the beginning, don't think for a second the salesman in me could stop here... with Claudia already working on a followup title I'm thinking 5 Title Box Set, Live Stage Musicals, a BBC Claymation Production and beyond!
