On October 13th, we held a kickoff event to recognize the team that, over the past 2? years, brought?"I Cook With Fire"?to life.?We were honored to have Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Secretary of State Directors Noula Zaharis, and Ari Schaffer in attendance. The Georgia SOS has been at the forefront of promoting small businesses in Georgia. Georgia was the first state to allow small investors (unaccredited) to invest in startups through the InvestGeorgia Exemption. The IGE program went into effect almost five years before the similar Federal/SEC program went into effect without the mountain of paperwork and 3rd?party portals required by the Federal program.
