Crowd Sourcing data to support “Corona Contact Tracing in India”
Dr. R. K. Dave

COVID-19 Cases are on increase in India. Contact tracing of unscreened international travellers and others who came in contact with them or any individual with COVID symptoms is a Himalayan task and is not practicable or feasible through physical surveys being conducted under current mechanism.
BY now people at large have acquired good awareness and understanding on the dreaded virus and it is right time for the Govt. to issue “public appeal” on TV and Radio asking people for “self-reporting “ and “neighborhood watch reporting”.
Ministry of Health and family welfare should establish a dedicated call-centre for “Corona contact tracing” with 500 telephone line and web portal for “COVID-19crowd data sourcing” . Call centre should have separate agent station for each state / UT with direct interface with health department of the respective state/UT. SOP can be drawn and established for handling information received.
