Florida Atlantic might (have) been the Cinderella story of this March Madness, and the effects of their incredible run will last for years to come. ??
The numbers are honestly remarkable. George Mason saw a 350% increase in applications after their run in 2006, UMBC gained over 80,000 Twitter followers in 2018 and Saint Peters received an ad exposure of $71 million during their run in 2022.?
Bottom line: there’s a lot of cash flowing around March Madness, and if we all stuck at basketball for a little longer, we could’ve inked some sweet NIL deals.?
