Crowd funding the T-Set

The Reason to manufacture the T-Set
There is a simple saying in golf – ‘consistency will help you play your best golf’ and as you will see, this comes right down to even the height you set your tee and this is what I am crowd-funding directly to all golfers and basically to all in the golf industry (and especially to event companies...)
This small golf accessory the T-Set will help you hit it longer and/or more accurately, it will also supply you with a (hidden) divot tool and two sides to brand if you wish, while helping you to feel more settled and confident over the ball (with use).
So how small is it? - 75mm (2.15/16th inch) x 50mm (1.15/16th inch) x 15mm (5/8th inch) fits in your pocket easily.
So, if you could ‘lower your handicap’ significantly or play a round of golf 2 to 4 shots better than you would normally do for any given course, would you be interested? I know I would (and have), as would most golfers and they would take that offer in a heartbeat….... even the tour pros.
If I then told you that to get the above desired results you had to use the T-Set for two plus (2+) months every time you practice at the range or played a round, that is what would happen, possibly even sooner. A few of the reasons behind this will be found in the following write up by Robert Cotter and since then has been well researched. Robert’s post explains it well…
Robert Cotter? - Professional Golf Ball Engineer - Director of Golf Swing Instruction - Instant Golf?
What comes out of the above post is to set it higher rather than too low with a lot of different aspects coming to the fore including how ball spin comes into the equation that affects how far you drive your tee shot and how much roll you get after the ball lands. So setting your tee too low or in fact even too high is going to negatively impact the quality, length and accuracy of your drives. What is required is a ‘consistent optimum’ height setting for each club and for each outcome you would want whether it be for length or accuracy..... and that is where the T-Set comes into play, Now you can set up for 'that' consistent strike.
Now for the Crowd-funding side
Having tried to get a 45% partner for $45,000 - See the link: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/investment-opportunity-golf-tee-heights-important-graham-riley I realized that for a supposedly ‘unknown product’ that was unfortunately not going to happen however good the numbers and market looked, so looked at what I financially needed to launch T-Set without a partner and worked out that what I needed was R450,000 - US$23,000
All the funds received will be used for the manufacture of a twin mould, the initial 7,000 units (7 colours), all packaging which would include ‘how to use’ directions on the unit packaging, our move out of the welfare retirement village we now live in and for the initial running of the business which will be done from a rented home but would still require packing and storage space, packing equipment to work tables and for one ‘hired hand’ to help once the products are manufactured.
I am reaching out to all my connections worldwide plus all golfers to help me reach this target. I am in South Africa and cannot use many of the existing crowd-funding sites so have gone this easy, ‘private’ and different way which will cost me less plus let me get there without time limits and restrictions.
For the safety of your donations or funds I will only be asking you to just confirm that you are interested in one of the options available below or make an option for yourself and confirm your option on email to [email protected]
These are the ‘Crowd-funding’ options and prices (Prices are in US dollars)?
1 to 5 units @ $15 for each unit
领英推荐
6 to 20 units @ $14 for each unit
21 – 40 units @ $13 for each unit
50 – 70 units @ $11.50 for each unit
80 to 100 units @ $10 for each unit
150 units plus @ $9 for each unit
The above amounts would be inclusive of postage or courier direct to your address. Once operational the prices of the T-Set will be the same as on the sliding scale above. If however you just want to donate.... then many thanks.
There is one other option available and that is to become a % partner. I was originally looking for a 45% partner for $45,000 and on the basis of this a 1% partnership will cost you $1,000 - 2% for $2,000 etc., just let me know. The information below will still come into play....
Once I have reached my set target of $23,000 / R450,000 only then will I call for your funds for your chosen option and give you the payment details. You will be asked at this time to re-confirm your order plus give an address to where the package would be sent plus if you had made payment for a payment deposit slip. In this way I know that I will have all the necessary funds in one lump sum to start with manufacture of the T-Set, which will then happen within a time frame of 2 to 3 months after receiving all the funds (moulds need to be manufactured – CNC milled, the packaging needs to be designed and made etc… all this plus the manufacture of the 7,000 units will take about that time to happen.... but hopefully a lot sooner and would keep all in the loop.
Hope you will join me in launching this great ‘little’ golf accessory and helping other golfers worldwide drop their HC…... and have some fun doing it.
