Crowd Fund With Me: Pride and Prejudice, a Musical by Jay Richards
I first met Jay Richards many years ago in Logan, Utah, a few weeks after seeing one of his plays. It was immediately apparent that Mr. Richards lives and breathes the art of music composition and story-telling. His abilities to adapt a story into heart-felt music, complimenting a theatre production --- well, they are unparalleled.
When one comes across a talent that is so pure, it becomes a duty and responsibility to ensure that as many others on this planet as will listen can be touched by a moment of inspiring, uplifting, thought-provoking story-telling, set to original music that is not soon forgotten.
Residents of Planet Earth, Come... Crowd Fund with me.
Let us band together to see this idea materialize from the creative mind of Jay Richards, to a true work of theatre magic. Pride and Prejudice will be a masterful adaptation of the Jane Austen classic. Let's bring this story into existence together.
On a personal note, in a moment when I was working to raise funds to create what is now known as Airtime Labs ( helloairtime.com ), this same Jay Richards rose up to assist me in keeping my dream alive. It is now my privilege to help him. He is a great man, with a rare perspective to share through musical theatre. His works are nothing short of amazing, and his voice, through his compositions, deserves to be heard throughout the Universe.
We can far surpass the funding request of $77,000 and join together to create the Musical Mini-Series! From Jay Richards own words:
There is a shortage of quality entertaining content out there. I believe that a talent such as Mr. Richards' should be supported so that it may be appreciated wide-spread, and shared to make the world a better place.
Join me in supporting Jay Richards and let's grant his wish. He has earned it.
